REGA ENERGY Co-Hosts GlassTrend “Shifting Towards Green Glass Manufacturing” Seminar
On November 6th and 7th, over 70 industry professionals gathered in Porto, Portugal, for the GlassTrend seminar event, co-hosted by REGA ENERGY, to discuss the global challenges and decarbonization journey of the glass industry.
The on-site seminar, titled “Shifting Towards Green Glass Manufacturing,” focused on the regulatory and technical aspects of renewable energy use in glass production. It featured a comprehensive agenda of presentations that covered both foundational insights and real-world industrial experiences.
REGA ENERGY and LC Glass presented their collaborative efforts to transform CRISAL (a member of the LC Glass Group) into one of Europe’s most sustainable glassware producers. The companies recently signed a significant long-term Renewable Gas Supply Agreement, under which REGA ENERGY will supply CRISAL’s Marinha Grande manufacturing facility with green hydrogen and green oxygen.
